Payment apps
Cash App, Venmo and PayPal: limits, fees, transfer times and pending payments.

PayPal direct deposit: setup, timing and missing pay
Set up PayPal direct deposit, find your account details and check when the first payment may arrive.

Transfer Venmo to a bank: timing, fees and limits
Move a Venmo balance by free standard transfer or paid instant transfer, with current timing and limits.

How long does PayPal take to transfer to a bank?
Standard PayPal transfers reach a bank in 1–3 business days; Instant takes minutes for a fee.

Cash App sent money to wrong person: what to do
Cash App cannot reverse a completed payment. Ask the recipient for a refund from the payment itself.

PayPal refund pending: track where the money is
Follow an issued refund from the seller to PayPal and the original bank or card, using the transaction status.

Venmo payment to the wrong person: what to do
Check the payment status first: Take Back, a return request and Venmo Support apply to different situations.

PayPal Friends and Family: fees and purchase risks
PayPal's personal payment option suits gifts and shared expenses. It excludes Purchase Protection for shopping.

Instant transfer fees: Cash App, Venmo and PayPal side by side
Getting money out in minutes costs a percentage. Here is what each app charges, per its own fee pages.
PayPal payment pending: holds, eChecks and what to do
Pending, on hold, unclaimed, eCheck: PayPal uses different words for different delays, each with its own clock.
Cash App payment pending: why it happens and what to do
Most Cash App payments land instantly. When one sits in pending, the app usually wants something from you.
Venmo limits: sending, receiving, verified vs unverified
$299.99 a week before verification, up to $60,000 after, and separate caps for bank transfers and the debit card.
Cash App limits: sending, receiving, Cash Card and bitcoin
$1,000 per 30 days unverified, $40,000 verified, plus separate caps for the card and bitcoin, from Cash App's own pages.
Payment apps hold your money in the app first. Moving it to your bank is a separate transfer: standard is free and takes one or more business days, while instant costs a percentage fee set by each app. Each app sets its own sending and receiving limits, usually higher once you verify your identity.
