Same day at home if you beat your bank’s cutoff. Final once sent.

A domestic wire moves one payment at a time over Fedwire and settles immediately. Your bank’s cutoff time decides whether it goes today or the next business day, and banks set it well before the Fed’s own deadline. Once sent, a wire cannot simply be reversed. Find your bank’s cutoff and fee in the cutoff table. The details and steps your bank asks for are in how to send a wire transfer.
