How we write, and what we will not publish.
Accuracy first
- Every fee, limit, cutoff time and transfer time comes from the institution’s own published source or from the regulator. Our methodology lists which sources we accept.
- Each figure shows its source and the date we checked it.
- When an institution does not publish a value, we leave it out of the page rather than guess.
How pages are written
- The answer comes first, in plain words. Explanations and details follow.
- We explain terms the first time we use them.
- We keep a light tone in headings. We never joke about figures, deadlines or your rights.
- We write for readers in the United States. Amounts are in US dollars and times in Eastern Time.
Consumer protection
- We explain your rights in plain language, including Regulation E for electronic transfers and the remittance transfer rule for money sent abroad.
- We say clearly when a payment cannot be reversed.
- We always point you to your bank’s or app’s official support channel.
- We never publish or recommend “fund recovery” or “crypto recovery” services.
Crypto
Our crypto section covers how transfers work: networks, fees, confirmation times and cashing out. We do not discuss prices, promote tokens or predict anything. When money sent to a wrong address or network cannot be recovered, we say so.
Independence
- We do not rank banks or apps as “best.” We publish facts side by side.
- No bank, app or advertiser reviews our pages before publication.
- Paid content is labelled and kept separate. It never changes our data, the order of our tables or our consumer-rights pages. See the sponsored content policy.
- We do not use bank or app logos.
Updates and corrections
Pages carry a “Checked on” date. We re-check bank and app facts every quarter and tables every month. Errors are fixed and recorded on the corrections page.
Bylines
Our pages are written and checked by the Send & Pray editorial desk and credited to Send & Pray Editors.
Not advice
