Every fix we make to a figure or a fact, in one place.

When we find or are told about an error, we check it against the original source, fix the page and record it here. Routine updates, such as a bank changing its fee on a known date, are shown on the page itself with a new “Checked on” date; this log is for mistakes we made.

What counts as a correction

Change Where you see it
We got a figure, date or fact wrong Fixed on the page and logged below
A link pointed to the wrong source Fixed on the page and logged below
A bank, app or regulator changed its own figure Updated on the page with a new “Checked on” date
We added detail or a new source to a page that was right Updated on the page

What an entry says

Each entry gives the date of the fix and the page. Under “What changed” it says what the page said before, what it says now, and the source that shows the correct value, so you can check it yourself.

How to report an error

Use our contact form, choose “Report an error or outdated figure” and include the page and, if you have it, the source that shows the correct value. The contact page explains how we check a report, and our methodology lists the sources we accept.
