Where your money is and when it lands.

You pressed send. Now you wait, refresh the app and hope. That feeling is where our name comes from. The rest of this site is the opposite of hoping: dry, checked facts about how money moves in the United States.

What we cover

  • Zelle: how it works, how long it takes, why payments sit pending, which banks offer it.
  • ACH: direct deposits and bank-to-bank transfers, Same Day ACH, deadlines and holidays.
  • Wire transfers: cutoff times, how long wires take at home and abroad, fees.
  • Payment apps: Cash App, Venmo and PayPal limits, fees and pending payments.
  • Crypto transfers: a compact section on sending crypto and stablecoins and cashing out to a bank.
  • Comparisons: which way of sending fits which job.

What makes us different

Other sites publish tables of limits and fees that contradict each other and cite nothing. We do three things instead:

  1. Every figure has a source. A fee, limit, cutoff time or transfer time comes from the bank’s, app’s or regulator’s own page, and we link it.
  2. Every figure has a date. You see when we last checked it.
  3. No source, no figure. If a bank does not publish a number, we leave it out of the page. We never copy a figure from another bank or another website.

How we do this is described in our methodology.

Who we are

Send & Pray is written by the Send & Pray editorial desk, credited as Send & Pray Editors. We are an independent publication, not a bank, a money transmitter or a financial adviser. We cannot see, move or recover anyone’s money.

What we do not do

  • We do not give financial or legal advice.
  • We do not rank banks or apps as “best.” We compare facts.
  • We do not use bank or app logos.
  • We do not work with “fund recovery” services, and we never will.

How we are funded

The site may carry clearly labelled sponsored content. Paid content never changes our data, the order of our tables or our consumer-rights pages. Read the sponsored content policy.

Contact

If you have a problem with a transfer, contact your bank or app directly, using the number on your card or in the app.
