Zelle at USAA

Zelle lists USAA Federal Savings Bank as a participating bank. USAA Federal Savings Bank sets its own Zelle limits.

USAA’s Zelle FAQ sets these sending limits: $1,700 in any 24-hour period, $5,000 in any 7-day period and $10,000 in any 30-day period, with up to 10 payments in 24 hours, 21 in 7 days and 90 in 30 days. USAA does not limit the amount you can receive with Zelle and charges no fee for it. An earlier, lower set of limits ($1,000 a day, $2,500 a week, three payments a day) still appears in USAA’s Send Money Terms of Service PDF dated April 30, 2025.

Wire transfers at USAA

The cutoff is 4:00 PM CT (5:00 PM ET) for domestic wires and 3:30 PM CT (4:30 PM ET) for international wires, Monday to Friday. Incoming wires received by 5:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET) Monday to Friday are generally processed the same day.

International wires go through the intermediary bank The Bank of New York and can take up to 15 calendar days. An incoming wire in a foreign currency is converted to US dollars by the intermediary bank, and USAA credits US dollars.
