Does Global Credit Union have Zelle? Its official FAQ for former First Financial Northwest members says Global is a nonparticipating institution. The same FAQ dates the end of former FFNW Zelle service to October 27, 2025. Global’s currently linked consumer fee schedule lists $20 domestic and $50 foreign bank wires. These are wire fees, not prices for a Zelle payment.

Global’s Zelle answer comes from its own conversion FAQ
The FAQ distinguishes the old First Financial Northwest service from Global’s service. It says former FFNW Zelle stopped working on October 27, 2025 and identifies Global as a nonparticipating financial institution. It also says the former Zelle token would be unenrolled automatically.
Those dates belong to the 2025 account conversion. They are not a new announcement in October 2026. A screenshot or instruction for the former FFNW app should not be treated as evidence that Global’s current app has Zelle.
Global points members to its Bill Pay tool as an alternative way to send money. The availability and delivery process of that tool are separate from Zelle’s enrolled-recipient payments. Check the service you are using, not just the name of the account.

The schedule warns that other financial institutions may assess additional fees for collection items. A price for Global’s service should not be read as a promise that every institution involved charges nothing. Review the transaction’s terms before agreeing to send.
The consumer schedule is separate from Global’s business-account disclosures. A business online-wire price or a benefit on another account does not replace these consumer rows. Compare the published entries in wire transfer cutoff times by bank and international wire transfer fees.
What Global asks for when you send a wire
Global’s services FAQ lists the recipient’s legal name as it appears on the destination account and the recipient’s physical address. For a business recipient, the outgoing wire must reflect the business name.
You also need the name and location of the receiving financial institution, the destination account number and an ABA routing number for a domestic wire or SWIFT/BIC code for an international one. Global advises checking whether the destination institution needs additional information.
These are instructions for identifying the destination. They are not a reason to use an account number received in an unexpected message without checking it independently.

Global quotes 12–72 hours for a domestic destination
Global says domestic wires may take 12 to 72 hours to reach the destination financial institution. Its FAQ attributes the timing to when the request arrived, weekends or holidays, the destination’s location and correspondent institutions involved in routing.
That is Global’s published customer-facing estimate, not a universal Fedwire settlement time. The wire leaving the sender and the receiving bank making money available are also different stages. Use the receipt and the reference for your own request rather than counting from an unrelated bank’s cutoff.
For foreign wires, Global points to the availability date on the Receipt Disclosure given at payment. Keep that disclosure if the recipient is still waiting. Read wire transfer not received for the information to gather before asking the institution to trace a payment.

Check changed wire instructions through another channel
Global identifies urgent requests, last-minute changes to wire details and instructions sent by email that cannot be independently verified as possible warning signs. It also warns about requests to forward money received as a check or another non-cash item.
An email naming a different receiving account is not enough to establish that the recipient authorized the change. Verify through an official website or a previously established contact channel. If you have already sent money and suspect fraud, use Global’s official support promptly; do not pay a recovery intermediary.
