Zelle at Zions Bank

You enroll in Zelle inside Zions Bank Digital Banking or the mobile app. The fee schedule lists sending, receiving and requesting money with Zelle at no charge. Zions Bank sets no limit on how much you can receive.

Sending limits for personal accounts depend on the tier the bank gives you:

Zelle sending limit Per day Per rolling 30 days
Standard payment $2,000 $5,000
Instant payment $1,500 $3,000
Instant payment, Tier 2 $5,000 $15,000

New users generally start with the standard limits. Tier 2 generally needs at least a year of enrollment and 20 or more successful Zelle payments in the prior year without fraud. Every tier allows 15 payments a day and 30 per rolling 30 days, with a $5 minimum. Zions Bank’s Zelle page quotes a single in-minutes figure of $3,000 a day; the terms of service set the tiers above, and Digital Banking shows the limits that apply to you.
