Who can use SchoolsFirst Zelle?
SchoolsFirst says members must be in good standing, at least 18 years old and have a checking account. Zelle links to the primary member’s name, email address or US mobile number; a joint signer cannot use it in their own name under the FAQ’s stated setup.
Zelle is in the Mobile Banking app, rather than Online Banking. Sign in, tap Transfer at the bottom, select Send Money with Zelle and accept the terms.
The credit union says to use its Member-to-Member transfer feature for another SchoolsFirst member. Zelle is intended for transfers to or from non-members. That distinction matters because the FAQ says Member-to-Member transfers do not share Zelle’s daily and monthly sending limits.

A transaction counts toward the monthly sending limit for 30 days from authorization. SchoolsFirst’s example says a payment on October 1 stops counting from October 31. Do not treat the first day of a new calendar month as an automatic reset.
Payments to enrolled recipients typically arrive within minutes. If a payment is pending, SchoolsFirst recommends checking enrollment and the email address or mobile number used. To receive money at SchoolsFirst, the notification’s email address or number must match your enrollment.
Canceling a SchoolsFirst Zelle payment
A payment can be canceled only if the recipient has not enrolled. Select the pending payment in activity, then Cancel This Payment. If the recipient is already enrolled, SchoolsFirst says the money goes directly to their account and cannot be canceled.
For money sent to the wrong person, SchoolsFirst suggests asking the recipient to return it and contacting the credit union at (800) 462-8328 if unsuccessful. The app needs sufficient funds to cover a Zelle payment.

Warning
SchoolsFirst and Zelle do not offer purchase protection for authorized payments. Use Zelle only with people or businesses you trust, and verify recipient details before sending.

The wire page explains requesting a transfer in a branch or by phone. Its branch request hours and telephone service hours are not presented as an ET wire-processing cutoff; confirm the applicable processing deadline with the credit union before a time-sensitive transfer.
For an outgoing wire, prepare your account and Share ID, amount and contact number, the receiving institution’s details and the beneficiary’s name, address and account details. International requests need the beneficiary bank’s SWIFT/BIC; additional country requirements can apply.
Receiving a SchoolsFirst wire
SchoolsFirst publishes domestic routing number 322282001 and international SWIFT/BIC SFROUS61. It specifically identifies the O in that BIC as a letter, not a zero.
Use your account name and address as shown on the statement. The credit union’s instructions describe the 12-digit savings account number or the checking number on the bottom of your checks. Confirm the intended account with SchoolsFirst before giving instructions to the sender.
