Online wires are “generally sent the same business day if processed before” 6:45 PM ET for domestic and 6:00 PM ET for international wires. An older Citigold Private Client PDF gives 6:00 PM ET and 5:15 PM ET; those are earlier cutoffs.

The amendment effective August 1, 2026 raised Standard online outgoing wires to $30 domestic and $40 international (USD), and Citi Priority to $25 and $35. The citi.com wire-transfers page still shows the earlier $25 and $35 Standard ($17.50 and $25 Citi Priority).

Citigold Private Client pays no wire fees in any channel. Citigold pays $35 domestic and $45 international through a branch or banker. Intra Citi Transfers to another customer’s U.S. Citibank account have been free since November 8, 2025. “Standard” means accounts in simplified banking outside a Relationship Tier.

Standard accounts can send online domestic and international USD wires of up to $50,000 per account per business day; Citi Priority, Citigold and Citigold Private Client have no such limit. Foreign-currency online wires go up to $50,000 (USD equivalent) per transaction for Standard and $500,000 for Citi Priority and above.
