Chase wire transfer fees, cutoff times and recipient details for domestic and international wires.
A Chase wire transfer can go to a US bank or an account abroad from chase.com or the Chase app. For a Chase Total Checking account, the published fee is $25 for an online domestic outgoing wire and $35 with a banker. International fees depend on the currency and amount. Your personal daily limit appears after you enroll, so another customer’s limit is not a reliable guide.

The table uses Chase Total Checking’s current fee page. Other Chase accounts can waive or change a fee, so check the fee shown in your own account before authorizing the transfer. An international foreign-currency wire with no wire fee is not free of currency cost: Chase sets the exchange rate and may include a spread. Intermediary and receiving banks can also deduct charges.

How to send a domestic wire
Chase asks for the recipient’s legal name, address, bank name, wire routing number and account number. Confirm those details directly with the recipient. A wire routing number can differ from the routing number printed on a check or used for ACH.
- Sign in to Chase online banking or the app.
- Open Pay & Transfer, choose Wires & global transfers, then add a recipient.
- Enter the recipient and bank details, amount and send date.
- Review the fee, exchange details if any, and the confirmation screen before sending.
A same-day domestic wire cannot be canceled after submission. A future-dated domestic wire can be canceled until 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the day before the send date, according to Chase’s wire FAQs.
How to send an international wire
For an international wire, Chase may ask for the recipient’s name and address, account number or IBAN, the receiving bank’s SWIFT/BIC and country-specific bank codes. The form shows which fields are needed for the destination.
Sending foreign currency can change the wire fee, but compare the total amount the recipient will get rather than the fee alone. The displayed exchange rate matters, and correspondent banks may take charges along the route.
Chase says a consumer international wire can generally be canceled within 30 minutes after authorization when the Cancel action is still available in Wire activity. After that window, contact Chase immediately, but a recall is not guaranteed.
Cutoff time and delivery
Chase’s business wire page publishes a 6:00 p.m. Eastern cutoff on business days. Personal availability and the date shown in your signed-in flow control your transfer. A request after the applicable cutoff begins processing on the next business day.
Domestic wires usually arrive the same business day when accepted before cutoff. International wires can take one to five business days. Reviews, recipient-bank processing, holidays and intermediary banks can add time. See how long wire transfers take and Federal Reserve holidays 2026.
How to receive a wire into Chase
Ask the sender what details their bank requires, then use Chase’s signed-in account and routing information. Do not copy a routing number from an unrelated web page. For an international transfer, the sender may also need Chase’s SWIFT/BIC and a bank address shown in Chase’s instructions.
Incoming credits can be reduced by the account’s incoming-wire fee or by intermediary charges. Check the posted amount and wire activity before assuming money is missing.
If the wire is delayed or wrong
A wire is designed to be hard to reverse. If recipient details are wrong, contact Chase immediately with the confirmation number. Do not send a second wire because the first one is delayed.
For a missing transfer, collect the send date, amount, recipient, confirmation and any tracking reference. Then follow wire transfer not received. If someone pressured you to wire money, stop and contact the bank through the number on your card or Chase’s official site.
