Zelle at Golden 1 Credit Union
Golden 1’s current page says members aged 13 or older, in good standing with a checking account, can use Zelle. In the app, open “I want to,” then “Send Money with Zelle.” In Online Banking, select “Send Money with Zelle” and follow the enrollment prompts.
To see your sending limit, open Send Money with Zelle, choose or add a recipient, then select Limits below the amount field. Use that account-specific figure when deciding how much to send. Golden 1 says there is no limit on the amount you receive; the sender’s institution can still limit what they send.
For someone already enrolled, money typically becomes available within minutes. Both sides need an eligible US checking or savings account. Golden 1 also offers scheduling and recurring payments: change the default Send Today setting to choose the date and frequency before reviewing and sending.

Canceling a pending Golden 1 Zelle payment
You can cancel only when the recipient has not enrolled. Open the payment in activity and look for Cancel This Payment. Golden 1 says a $25 stop-payment fee applies to canceling a transaction still pending for that reason.
If the recipient does not enroll within 14 days, Golden 1 says the payment expires, the funds return and no fee is charged for that natural expiry. A completed payment to an enrolled recipient cannot be canceled. For a mistaken payment, call Golden 1’s official support at 1-877-465-3361 immediately.

Warning
Golden 1 and Zelle do not offer purchase protection. Send only to people or small businesses you trust. Golden 1 says qualifying imposter scams may be eligible for reimbursement; report a suspected scam to its support team.

The schedule says correspondent or receiving foreign banks may assess additional charges. Golden Prestige benefits for members aged 62 or older include domestic wire transfers among the listed free services. Confirm that the applicable account or benefit qualifies before relying on a waiver.
The same schedule lists incoming and outgoing Online External Transfer Service as free. That fee entry is separate from wire pricing and does not establish a sending limit or delivery deadline.
If money is pending or sent to the wrong person
For Zelle, check enrollment and the recipient details. For help with an error, use Golden 1’s official support number, 1-877-465-3361. Do not pay a third party to recover a transfer.
Read Zelle payment pending, cancel a Zelle payment and Zelle scam refund. For wires, see how long do wire transfers take and wire transfer not received.
