The bank does not publish one standard daily cap. Its flexible limit can change based on the transaction, your enrollment history and other confidential risk criteria.

Which Capital One accounts work with Zelle?
Capital One’s Zelle page names 360 Checking and MONEY Teen Checking as eligible accounts. You must enroll in Zelle through Capital One online banking or the Capital One mobile app.
Enrollment uses an eligible US mobile number or email address. Capital One can restrict or refuse a transfer under its terms, including for fraud prevention, security or legal requirements.

How to check your Capital One Zelle limit
- Sign in to the Capital One app or online banking.
- Open the Zelle feature.
- Choose the recipient.
- Enter the payment amount.
- Review the limit and delivery information shown before submitting.
Capital One says its limits can cover the amount, number and frequency of transfers. This means a displayed dollar figure may not be the only control on a transaction. Repeated payments or an unusual recipient can also receive a different decision.
How fast Capital One Zelle payments arrive
Money sent to a person who is already enrolled with Zelle is typically available within minutes. If the recipient has not enrolled, the transfer remains pending while Zelle sends enrollment instructions. Delivery can take longer depending on enrollment, review and the information entered.
A Zelle payment is different from a domestic or international wire. For larger or formal bank-to-bank transfers, review our Capital One wire transfer guide.
Can you cancel a Capital One Zelle payment?
You generally cannot cancel a payment after it reaches an enrolled recipient. If the recipient has not enrolled, Capital One says you can cancel the payment while it is still pending. Check your activity and open the transfer to see whether a cancel option is available.
Verify the recipient before confirming. Capital One’s page says Zelle does not offer purchase protection for authorized payments. It recommends sending only to friends, family and others you trust.
What Capital One charges for Zelle
Capital One says it does not charge a fee for using Zelle. Your mobile carrier can charge for data, and the eligible account remains subject to its normal terms.
A lack of a Zelle fee does not make every payment reversible or protected. The recipient details and purpose of the transfer matter more than the fee when deciding whether Zelle is appropriate.
What to do when Capital One declines the amount
Use the limit displayed for that payment rather than relying on a figure from an old transfer or a third-party list. If the app does not permit the amount, choose a different legitimate payment method or contact Capital One for help. Do not split a transfer to evade a bank control.
Capital One lists 800-655-2265 for Zelle help. Use a number shown inside the Capital One app or on capitalone.com if you prefer to verify contact details independently.
